A Great Easy Project For Fall - Mini Rag Ball Acorns

I love collecting acorns and wanted to come up with a new, creative way to use them. And then it hit me. Make mini-rag balls. It worked like a charm. All I did was cut 1/4" wide strips of fabric (great use of leftover fabric) and rolled them into little rag balls. I then hot glued them into the acorn cap. So easy and so fun!!!

  1. Cute. How big are they and what did you use for the acorn top.

  2. Very cute! What is the trim around the acorn cap rim? Moss?

  3. Thank you so much for visiting! Here are the answers to both your questions. The tops I used for the acorns are actual acorn caps so the acorns are acorn size. As for the trim around the acorns cap that is actually part of the acorn cap. They are from a burr oak tree I think. I find them by the 1000s at my in-laws house in central Minnesota.
